Helios Metal Center Ltd is a leading company in the
fields of production and trading with construction
steel. It was established in 1990 as a General
Partnership called “Helios - Plovdiv Vassilev and
Co”. The company has been a proactive participant in
the local and international market for more than 20
years. As a result of its vast development and will
for improvement, the company was divided into two
standalone structures in 2006 - with one of them
being Helios Metal Center (HMC) Ltd.
The company’s operation in Bulgaria is led by
trading offices and production units in Plovdiv,
Sofia, Bourgas, Svishtov and G.Delchev. The main
warehouse, situated in Plovdiv, has a total area of
30 000 sq.m, half of which is covered. It offers
more than 250 different types of steel commodities.
The product mix is strongly dominated by extended
mesh and hot-rolled mini profiles – flats (10/3 to
25/4), square (6x6 to 12x12), "L" and "Т" profiles.
HMC is among the biggest steel vendors of
reinforcing bars and a major manufacturer of cut and
bends on size constructions – as such HMC became a
reliable supplier of many leading construction
companies. The main production plant, spreading over
5000 sq.m, reaches a monthly capacity of 2000 tons.
